Dress Code


Dress Code 2019/2020 Season

We believe that having the students in the appropriate attire will help them excel in the classroom. By following the dress code, it ensures that the students will be attentive and focused during the instruction of each and every class.

Young Children’s Program:

Pre-Ballet I – Pink leotard (no writing), pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers, hair in a bun, optional pink attached or slip on ballet skirt (no tutus)

Pre-Ballet II — Pink leotard (no writing), pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers, hair in a bun, optional pink attached or slip on ballet skirt (no tutus)

*Combination Classes for Pre- Ballet II will require appropriate shoes: black tap shoes (tap), black jazz shoes (hip hop)

Foundation – Pink leotard (no writing), pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers, hair in a bun, optional pink attached or slip on ballet skirt (no tutus)

*Combination Classes for Foundation will require appropriate shoes: black tap shoes (tap), black jazz shoes (hip hop)

Levels I to VII:

Ballet I – Burgundy leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun

Ballet I/II- Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun

Ballet III- Blackleotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun

Ballet IV-VII-Any color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun

Boys Ballet – White fitted t-shirt shirt, black tights or black leggings, black ballet slippers

Boys (Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater)- Solid color form fitting t-shirt, black tights or black pants, appropriate dance shoes for style of dance

Contemporary/Lyrical – Any color leotard and tights, foot undeez or spins, hair in a ponytail or bun

Musical Theater – Any color leotard and tights, black jazz shoes, foot undeez or spins, hair in a bun or ponytail

Jazz – Any color leotard and tights, black jazz shoes, foot undeez or spins, hair in a bun or ponytail

Tap – Any color leotard and tights, black oxford tap shoes, hair in a bun or ponytail

Hip Hop (Boys and Girls) –). Clean sneakers that is worn exclusively for dance class will be needed. Your Hip Hop shoe is meant for the dance studio only.  Dancers will wear comfortable clothing (sweat pants, basketball/gym shorts, etc). Leotards, booty shorts and tights are also permitted. Overly baggy clothes are not allowed. Hair in a ponytail.

Adults- Dance attire or comfortable workout clothes

Hip Hop –We are currently looking for a new Hip Hop she as the Gia Mia Combat Boots have been discontinued

Professional Seemed Fishnets- Bodywrappers A67 or Capizio 3400

Stirrup Tight – Capezio Ultra Soft #1961 in Black or Light Suntan

Adult Ballet Tights – Capezio ultra Soft Transitional Tights in Light Pink
